Counselling Therapy in Ayrshire and the Clyde Coast Area

Welcome to

COUNSELLING CLYDE COAST
Confidential Caring Counselling

My name is Elizabeth Urie and I'm a counsellor currently working in Largs. My aim is to offer a safe, confidential, therapeutic counselling service to clients around Ayrshire and its surrounding areas. My counselling room is conveniently placed within the town centre with parking close by. Largs is not only easily accessible for clients in and around North Ayrshire but also for those coming from Kilmarnock in the east, Prestwick in the south of the county and is a short distance from the Inverclyde and Renfrewshire borders. Please feel free to explore my website to find out more about counselling and the service I offer.

Why seek help from a counsellor?

Life challenges us in many ways and there are some areas of our lives that we would like to change or improve. We can become overwhelmed and confused by the situations in which we find ourselves and just don't seem able to see our way clear to find our own answers and direction. Counselling offers an opportunity to look at the problem areas of our lives in a safe and confidential environment and to explore ways that we might bring about the changes and life choices that, on an individual basis, feel right for us.

Some of the difficulties or concerns that people bring to therapy are:

  • Abuse
  • Addiction
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement/Grief/Loss
  • Depression
  • Employment Issues
  • Life Changes/Chronic Illness
  • Loss of Control
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Panic Attacks
  • Relationships
  • Sexuality
  • Stress

In my role as counsellor, I hope to facilitate my clients to:

  • Explore their difficulties
  • See more clearly how they experience themselves and others
  • Understand and value themselves, their strengths and limitations
  • Make life choices that feel right for them

I hope you find this website helpful and informative.
